Female UK Grime veteran NoLay is bringing the hype in her first brand new 2018 single – The Hype. The South London emcee recently signed to Fanfair Recordings last August and is currently promoting her European tour Bad Behaviour 2018 which is set to kick off in Berlin/Germany.
Since her days in the grime collective Unorthadox in the early 00’s, NoLay has built up a reputation for being fierce when she spits with a cut throat lyrical talent that can spin many female and male artists.
In the new music era, her sound has evolved, switching from old school garage and grime instrumentals to beats where she demonstrates more of her female energy. Including tracks like Run Up and Marching. The Hype is a mixture of difference influential music genres such as Dancehall, Reggaeton, Soca, House and Moombahton. On this track, the female artist diverts from her normal hardcore wordplay bars to lyrics which can hype any crowd which she delivers in her signature slick and sharp manner. This track is a club banger and is bound to have the crowd on their feet.
