*VIVID RADIO is on the air*
After delivering some cryptic clues, Toronto-based indie darlings Alvvays finally revealed details for their sophomore album Antisocialites. That news also came with fresh music in the form of lead single "In Undertow," and that track has just been treated to a music video.
The clip was directed by Joe Garrity, and it takes the band on a trippy space odyssey. Frontwoman Molly Rankin describes the visual style as "aquacosmic psych meets public access TV," which pretty much nails it.
Bright colours and blurry images swirl together, mixed with psychedelic retro effects — and you can join Alvvays on the trip by watching "In Undertow" below.
Antisocialites arrives on September 8 via Polyvinyl/Royal Mountain/Transgressive.
