East London rapper Mercston returns with his brand new track ‘Top Bins’, produced by DJ Scholar.
Mercston has been making good music for a minute and over the years his distinctive flow and artful bars have made him a prominent presence in Grime. Many of you will be aware that Mercs was part of the infamous UK collective, The Movement, which also included Wretch 32, Ghetts and Scorcher, and was a fundamental part of the progression of Grime, so you can understand how Mercston has established his position at the forefront of the UK scene.
In his latest track, Top Bins, Mercs showcases his experimental style with samples from a few classic Grime tracks such as I Spy. The visuals directed by Kaylum sees the MC sporting Puma’s Arsenal football club’s home kit while he spits some impressive bars and shows us why he’s still a tempo specialist.
