FLOOR SIXX launched in January with a MistaJam premiere of its debut single ‘Know Yourself’ by east London MC Jammz and producer Westy on BBC Radio 1. The video premiered on VEVO/Complex UK and hit 100,000 views in its first week – pretty big for a launch right?
“Know Yourself gives us everything we’d want from a Jammz banger: a fast-paced, dexterous flow sitting perfectly on top of a spacious, chrome-plated R&G beat. A very, very strong opening gambit from FLOOR SIXX” – Complex UK.
Following that, February saw FLOOR SIXX release ‘Tekkers’ with Tottenham MC Capo Lee and chart topping producer Sir Spyro. The track launched on BBC Radio 1 with DJ Logan Sama and the VEVO visual hit CLASH Magazine shortly after.
“Sir Spyro and Capo Lee go back a long way but FLOOR SIXX definitely seems to have brought the best out of this relationship” – CLASH Magazine
The third release in March/April was ‘Frontline’ south London MC Drifter alongside producer MistaKay, the track saw a record of the week from Charlie Sloth on 1Xtra and was the lead single for the FLOOR SIXX launch party which saw surprise performances from Ghetts, Donaeo and more.
Today, Deam Em marks the fourth release with Last Japan on production and Killa P on lyrical skengman duties. The track premiered as a Targo Embargo yesterday with DJ Target and the video dropped on DUMMY today.
Killa P is an MC from Brixton who first made waves in 2008 on a track with The Bug titled SKENG (which he late remixed as LENG). His previous releases include Killa Instinct and Killa Instinct Volume 2 in 2008 and 9, but in the years that followed P was quiet, coming back in 2015 to feature on Sir Spyro’s single Topper Top alongside Teddy Bruckshot and Lady Chann. Killa is known for his hard-hitting patois, deadly lyrics and ability to turn a rave over every single time.

Last Japan is a London Producer and DJ with a distinctive sound that has seen him become a household name in the underground dance and electronic music scene. His style – which wavers around garage, grime and funky house – has seen acts such as Riko Dan, AJ Tracey and Trim release tracks with him on various labels ranging from Four40 Records, Bullet Train and Coyote. He’s also (rightly) been co-signed by the likes of Benji B, Toddla T and Mistajam on BBC Radio 1 with guest mixes and radio spins throughout his career.
