*VIVID RADIO is on the air*
Francophone psych-rock unit Fuudge hail from Montreal, and they're ready to unveil their brand new music video for "Innocent."
The crunchy, cranked-up tune appears on the band's self-titled EP, which came out earlier this year, and the new clip breathes some fresh life into the song. It features performance footage of the band, interlaced with slow-mo footage of frontman David Bujold smashing TVs, chairs, ceramics and even his guitar, before splashing some water on his face to cool off.
Despite working with a low budget, Bujold and the band went into the videomaking process knowing what they wanted in terms of setting and editing, and of course, what they wanted to break into a million tiny pieces. "I absolutely wanted to smash a guitar," Bujold tells Exclaim! — a desire he totally credits to Nirvana.
That same aggressive energy and grunge-y attitude will get channelled into the band's upcoming live shows, which you can see listed below. Beyond that, hit play to check out the video premiere of "Innocent."
Tour dates:
11/03 Montreal, QC – Divan Orange
12/17 Trois- Rivières, QC – Le Zénob
