*VIVID RADIO is on the air*
Following the recent release of the stand-out It's Immaterial album, Black Marble is throwing some more support behind its "Woods" single with a new forest-set video.
Described by Black Marble mastermind Chris Stewart as a "poeticized vision of an escape that leads nowhere," "Woods" comes with a clip helmed by director Theo Sixou. Apparently, the concept for the video came from a recent trip to a Second World War concentration camp.
"A forest of birches surrounded the camp until the eye could see," said Sixou said in a statement, "and I caught myself thinking about the refugee crisis, about an escape. But where to escape to? Where to go? Only the woods."
You can watch how it all plays out below.
It's Immaterial is out now via Ghostly International. In support of the album, Black Marble has a series of upcoming West Coast shows, including a stop in Vancouver on Saturday (October 22).
