UK label Little Rocket Records recently launched a North American division, and Edmonton punks the Old Wives are among the first to sign on with the new office. To celebrate the move, they've unveiled a brand new video for "The Grown Up / The Fuck Up," and Vivid has the premiere.
The band's back catalogue will be getting re-released through their new label home, so it seems like the perfect time to revisit "The Grown Up / The Fuck Up," which originally appeared on the group's 2013's EP Here We Go Again.
The track has been given a fresh visual treatment that throws back to the VHS era, capturing fuzzed-out retro performance footage of the band — after an intro featuring some questionable vintage video clips.
"The video was filmed in our jam space. Shaun was really drunk," the band explained in a statement. "Getting to work with Little Rocket Records is pretty awesome — it's like we're a big team. Everyone is pitching ideas, everyone is communicating, and we are all pushing in the same direction."
That collaborative spirit will result in a new album called Three, which is set for release early next year. For now though, check out the video for "The Grown Up / The Fuck Up" in the player below.
