LA based Swedish singer Snoh Aalegra releases her new single - ‘Under The Influence’ taken from her forthcoming mini-album ‘Don't Explain’.
Under The Influence is an emotionally-charged two-stepper perfect for drawing your partner in close for a slow dance. You’ll be hard pushed to find a blog or website who doesn’t compare Snoh’s smokey, bluesy vocals to Amy Winehouse as this really is an apt comparison. In addition, the classic Roy Lichtenstein / Modesty Blaise (https://www.artsy.net/artist/ roy-lichtenstein) styled pop cover art would have even made the late-great singer proud!
Produced by No I.D ‘Under The Influence’ also features John Mayer, who provides the lead guitar. No I.D. also worked with RZA on the SSMA nominated track "Emotional" and Common for "Bad Things”.
Aalegra's Don't Explain - also features collaborations with James Fauntleroy and DJ Dahi - lands April 8 and is available for pre-order on iTunes here.
