The pair met in Tuscany while studying physical theatre, but have since relocated to New York and combined Sam's experiences of finding spirituality and songwriting inspiration through ayahuasca and meditation with Margot's background in musical theatre and violin.
It's an unlikely combination that results in a lush folk-pop sound — heard on "Burn It Down" — that brings together acoustic guitar, violin and charming vocal harmonies. The accompanying clip is a fiery one that sees the duo go from busking in the streets to an elaborate bank intrusion that finds them performing in the finest of formalwear.
