Fans have been given a first look at Aquaman's big screen recreation and it does look a little different.
Gone on the bright colours and blonde locks, replaced by a body-painted, armoured and, well, hairier version of the comic book hero.
It's the first chance people have had to see the classic superhero before his appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Game of Thrones' Jason Momoa has certainly made an impression.
Director Zack Snyder unveiled the epic picture on his Twitter account and gave fans plenty to talk about.
He wrote: "There is only one true King. #unitetheseven (sic)"
Referring to his alias 'The King of the Seven Seas', it doesn't tell us a great deal about what Aquaman's involvement will be in the movie - outside of introducing another member of the Justice League into DC's big screen universe.
Meanwhile, Henry Cavill recently admitted he hopes he can play Superman in the franchise "for many, many years to come".
Speaking to website TheAnglophileChannel, he said: "I love the character. I love working with Warner Bros. and what they're doing with it, and so fingers crossed I'll be able to tell the story for many, many years to come."
Cavill is very excited for cinema goers to see the both Batman and the Man of Steel on screen together for the first time and insists director Zack Snyder's vision for his Superman and Ben Affleck's Caped Crusader is something very special.
He explained: "It's Zack Snyder, so it's going to be a visual spectacle, and its cinematic history. Fingers crossed it turns out to be as exciting as I think it is."
Cavill is believed to be set to play the son of Krypton until at least 2019 with Justice League - Part 1 planned for 2017 and Justice League - Part 2 set to hit the big screen.
Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara has also announced the studio's plans to make a solo Batman film with Affleck reprising his role as The Caper Crusader and another standalone Superman adventure.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice also stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Jesse Eisenberg as super-villain Lex Luthor. It is scheduled for a March 2016 release.
