Fleet Foxes "Fool's Errand"

With Fleet Foxes' new Crack-Up headed our way next month, Robin Pecknold and co. are giving us another proper taste of the album with "Fool's Errand."

The new album cut arrived this evening (May 11) and follows the previous album teaser "Third of May / Ōdaigahara." Of course, you can stream "Fool's Errand" now below.

UPDATE (5/12, 10:00 a.m. EDT): An accompanying video has now been released. The clip was directed by Sean Pecknold and Adi Goodrich, and you can check it out down below, as well.

As previously reported, Crack-Up arrives on June 16 through Nonesuch Records. Fleet Foxes also have a big world tour coming up, and it includes stops in Canada. You can see their full schedule here.

Written in LA with Kid Harpoon (Years & Years, Jessie Ware) and Sarah Aarons, ‘Bedroom’ is a banger of feminine independence, sexuality and control. A woman who takes indictment from a not so ideal situation. The video to ‘Bedroom’ also perfectly articulates this sense of taking charge and getting more out of an only ‘bedroom’ based situation…

She-Devils "Hey Boy"

She-Devils drop their self-titled debut LP later this month, but before the record arrives, the Montreal duo have unveiled a new video.
 
Previously shared single "Hey Boy" has been given the visual treatment by bandmates Audrey Ann Boucher and Kyle Jukka, who looked to Yayoi Kusama's art, '90s kids TV programs and '60s ye-ye music videos for inspiration.
 
The result is a bright blast of colourful images that are as mesmerizing as the retro-sounding tune itself. Check it out below.
 
She-Devils is due out on May 19 through Arbutus Records, and you can see the band's upcoming tour dates here.
 

             

Miley Cyrus "Malibu"

Miley Cyrus has been having something of a personality crisis through her music. After flirting with trap alongside Mike WiLL Made-It, she did drugs with the Flaming Lips and toured with Dan Deacon. Now, however, she presumably wants to pay some bills and make some hits, so she's gone back to normie mode.

As previously reported, Miley's next album will be a "rootsy" outing. Her latest single "Malibu" certainly fits that mould. While there are a handful of radio-pop production flairs, it's mostly just a vehicle for Miley to deliver her gravelly vocals atop a simple guitar.

That said, annoying Miley is still in there — in the song's accompanying video, she does a ridiculous "jig" on the beach. You'll see it at the one-minute mark below.
