MOONSHINE & MARIJUANA arrest in Alabama

*PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT*

Law enforcement officials in Butler County seized $36,000 worth of marijuana growing inside a Pine Apple Highway residence on Tuesday.
Officers with the Second Judicial Drugs Task Force arrested George Whittle, 54, and charged him with possession of marijuana first-degree and possession of illegal or untaxed liquor, the Greenville Advocate reported.
"He had lights and a timer set up," Butler County Sheriff Kenny Harden told the newspaper.
About $250 worth of moonshine was also found inside the home but no still was found on the property.
Firearms found at the residence were also seized.
