Amidst the controversy and media coverage that UK Drill is experiencing, the Harlem Spartans have been one of the more consistent groups to come out of South London in the last couple of years. Despite ongoing legal troubles, they have managed to release a plethora of different bangers which have seen their name blow up considerably. TG Millian in particular is known for his graphic and blunt bars and proves this in his latest offering. Titled ‘Wicked And Waaasss’, the South London driller gets busy on a hard instrumental co-produced by MKThePlug and M1OnTheBeat, two producers that are very familiar with the Harlem boys. His monotonous voice allows him to ride the beat well as he calls out his oppressors and talks wicked in a surprise drop.
Directed by TEE, the video is shot on location in Kennington, South London and features cameos from his guys that aren’t behind bars. The video also features clips from the cult classic film ‘City of God’ but who knows if this was deliberately done to compensate for TG’s incarceration. We are treated to a hard phone freestyle by fellow Harlem Spartan MizOrMac, who is also incarcerated.
If you paid attention at the start of the video, the rapper teases Mr Millian: The Mixtape Episode 1. Given his current situation, who knows when that will see a release?
