South London based artist Alicai Harley has been under the radar for a minute now as she bids to leave her mark on music in 2018. You might have heard of the Jamaican born artist for records such as ‘Killa’, ‘Gold’ and the Gold remix featuring Cham, also known as Baby Cham, who is famed for his 2006 hit ‘Ghetto Story’. This time around the bubbly vocalist is back and insists that she is not done in her latest effort. Titled ‘Naah Done’, Alicai gives us a confident display of dancehall infused vibes and personality over a MusicMan Ty instrumental to good effect.
The Meji Alabi directed video was shot on location in the heart of Jamaica, as a result we are treated to a gorgeous visual. The self-proclaimed Hot Shot takes us all around the beautiful island from the river, to the barbershop to the streets as the visuals match the vivacious energy that Alicai Harley brings to the table. The warm visuals features infectious dancing as she boastfully claims that “Caribbean girls run tings” before driving home her point that her love is enduring (hence the title ‘Naah Done’).
Watch the warm visuals for ‘Naah Done’ above and let us know what you think of Alicai Harley’s latest effort.
