DAVID GILMOUR "Rattle That Lock" release

*THE SYNDICATE DOES NOT EXIST*
David Gilmour"Rattle That Lock" (video)
In addition to revealing a love for French railway systemsDavid Gilmour is using his new "Rattle That Lock" single to rep John Milton. Need proof? The Pink Floyd guitarist's animated video for the track follows the fallen narrative ofParadise Lost

The black and white clip was prepped by Trunk Animation's Alasdair & Jock, who have fit the track with visuals saluting Milton's vision, as well as those of 19th century illustrator Gustave Dore, and "Rattle That Lock" lyricist Polly Johnson.

As you'll discover down below, the video switches from the sight of Satan tumbling from the heavens to scenes starring the snarling hounds of hell, among other arcane images.

"I love animation when it does something that can't be achieved any other way," Gilmour said in a statement. "The film Alasdair & Jock have made for "Rattle That Lock" highlights a darkness in the song that couldn't have been shown any other way."
