UAE electronic music duo Hollaphonic - MC Olly Wood and Dubai house pioneer DJ Greg Stainer - have just dropped their fifth single release.
The second single from the highly-anticipated debut LP Personal Space, Dangerous is a collaboration with London vocalist Vince Kidd, a former The Voice UK finalist and protege of Jesse J. It's the next step in an already historic journey for Hollaphonic, who are the first dance duo from the Middle East to be signed by a major record label, the first ME act to be featured on MTV Dance and a former Ahlan! Hot 100 entrant.
"This song, for us, feels like the opening of a new chapter in the sound of Hollaphonic. We strongly believe that this, given the right opportunity, can start a movement for the band overseas." said the duo. "The sound, combined with the awesome vocals of Vince Kidd, is something that really surrounds the listener - plus it’s damn catchy and full of good vibes and wicked beats.
"Working with Vince was great - he's a very chilled-out dude for someone in such demand right now, and it’s been great for us to both work with each other at this stage, before things hopefully blow up!"
Personal Space will be released on 2 March. For more information, visit www.wearehollaphonic.com.
