Darrell Cole is back with a brand new video for his uptempo track ‘Outta Control‘ which is produced by ONEOFUS.
For this video Darrell Cole lets filmmaker Sharif Abdel Mawla from Amsterdam have all the control. Sharif tells the story about a young Moroccan boy who is coming of age, somewhere in the Netherlands. The boy, played by Yassine Kji, is simply tired of all the strict rules and decides to change his lifestyle by doing the opposite of what he was taught. He wants a girlfriend and he goes all out for his dream girl, by any means necessary.
This song is amazing, it’s not everyday you see a movie within a music video. In this day and age we are taught to do the norm and conform to rules in society, but young people are going against this and deciding to be different, in attempts to be happy and reach their goals and objectives. This is demonstrated within this Video, its simply a work of magic.
Darrell Cole has a thing for creating a story within his visuals. I won’t be surprised if he started his own TV Series. His previous videos, ‘Take Me Away‘, ‘BOATS‘ & ‘Time‘ all have a reflective message and its great to see.
