The Duke Spirit have always stuck to their guns.
Whereas plenty of contemporaries - without naming names - have perhaps softened their sound and fallen by the wayside, the group have always remained, resolutely, themselves.
And that's something that is only set to continue. The Duke Spirit are busy completing work on new album 'Kin', with fresh material set to appear next year.
Taken from the upcoming LP, new single 'Blue And Yellow Light' will be released on November 12th. By turns soothing and raucous, the gentle, shoegaze-tinged textures are matched to rough-hewn rock vocals and scorching guitar.
Clash is able to air the accompanying visuals, and they're capable of reminding you just why you fell in love with The Duke Spirit in the first place.
