AMANDA HOLDEN "I'm disgusted by American politicians"

*Warning: PIRATE RADIO presentation*

Amanda Holden and Phillip Schofield were left shocked and disgusted on This Morning earlier today.
The presenting duo couldn't believe what they were hearing when US politician Wayne Allyn Root proudly admitted on the show that teachers should be armed with guns in classrooms.
"I would arm teachers," he confessed during a heated debate with fellow guest Piers Morgan .
With that, doting mum Amanda let slip "Oh my goodness" while Phillip's jaw dropped.

The American then tried to brush off the British trio's reaction by labeling them "liberals" - but former Britain's Got Talent judge Piers was quick to correct him.
"We are not liberals, we just find what you're saying extraordinary," he explained. "How can you think it's okay to arm a poorly trained teacher?"
Piers went on to reveal that there have been 142 shootings in US schools over the last three years, compared to zero in the UK where guns are illegal and have been since the Nineties.
However, Wayne argued back that while there had been no shootings, British schoolchildren had been attacked with other weapons such as knives.

Piers Morgan debated US gun policy with politician Wayne Allyn Root
"I am pro-guns," added Wayne. "I think owning a gun is the right of an American.
"Shootings only happen in gun-free zones. I think that by banning guns, you're saying to the world 'Come on in and kill us'. I'm amazed by what you're saying.
"Your solution doesn't work!"
Piers then stressed that shootings in America do not solely happen in "gun-free zones" and also stated that no background checks are carried out on customers in 40% of gun purchases.
