Perez Hilton has hit back after being called a 'pervert' for posting a pic of him showering with his young son.
The US gossip writer, who has a son Mario and baby daughter Mia, both born via surrogate, was seen in the snap beaming with his two-year-old splashing about in the background.
He faced a fierce backlash with one Twitter user calling it 'creepy' and another going as far as to call it 'child abuse'.

Perez defiantly tweeted afterwards: "Crazy that this has become today's hot topic. Seriously, if this were @ chrishemsworth and his son, people would not be reacting this way."
He also previously told followers: "I had my bathing suit on, and I didn't feel the need to clarify that in the caption."
Plenty of fans have stuck up for the star, telling him even if he was naked it's normal for parents to bathe with their young children.
One wrote: "No need to explain yourself. Shorts or not, nudity is nothing to be ashamed of and it’s how we teach our children about our bodies."
Another added: "Anyone who's a parent didn't see this as creepy because as adult parents we know the day-to-day life of raising children."
Controversial star Perez is raising his children with the help of his mother and a nanny and recently welcomed Mia into the family after she was born in May this year, also via surrogate.
