Michael Modern releases the highly anticipated Fraud Bae.
If you have been on social media over the past few weeks, or turned on This Morning, then you may have heard all about the trending thread that started the hashtag #FraudBae. Well, the man accused of being #FraudBae is Michael Modern, and he decided to make a track to get his side of things off his chest.
Fraud Bae is the track that a lot of people, especially those on the Twitter timeline, have been waiting for and sees Michael Modern boasting about his fraudulent activities. He admits to booking Paris, whilst saying “do you think I used my own card”, insinuating that he did in fact use somebody else’s card to book a holiday, as mentioned in the trending thread.
With lyrics such as, “I don’t spend what I earn, I will never be finessed. It will never be my turn,” it’s safe to assume that Michael Modern is owning the #FraudBae title and making light of it.
It seems as though Michael Modern is trying to turn a negative situation into a positive one – with this track, or he’s using the attention to push through with a potential music career.
