Maxsta is back with a brand new track! The East London based grime artist has been quietly preparing to release his long awaited Maxtape 2, which has been scheduled for release on the 30th of November. This year he has already released “Guns And Roses” (Feat. Inch from Smoke Boys) and more recently he has released “Badmanism”. Back in September, Maxsta dropped “Born On Your Own” featuring grime legend Jme, with the end result sounding like it has channeled the essence of Jme’s classic “AWOH”. Now almost two months later, the video to “Born On Your Own has been given the visual treatment.
Directed by David Sule, the engaging video is dynamic in nature and captures Maxsta at his best, barring with confidence and the assured nature that keeps him held in high esteem by grime loyalists. The video shows Maxsta in various locations around London as the video starts with the robbery of an off licence. We are then introduced to the Boy Better Know mainstay before one of the actors in the video meets an untimely demise. With the release of Maxsta’s project impending, this is sure to be one of the standout tracks on it.
