London based singer Tanika Bailey has been on her grind for a hot minute now and is known to bless a microphone with her soft, dancehall infused R&B sensibilities. Her latest track titled ‘No Man Is An Island’ comes after her acting endeavours have landed her in The Intent 2 and Yardie, the latter of which is produced by famed actor, DJ, producer and esteemed personality Idris Elba. Tanika has certainly been a busy bee and you will be able to see her in both films this autumn.
‘No Man Is An Island’ is the P2J Music produced R&B cut that finds the 28 year old artist reinforcing the old adage that no one is self-sufficient in this life and everybody depends on somebody.
Tanika wrote this cut by herself and this further demonstrates her ability as a songwriter. The Frosted Ice Inc. produced video, in association with Link Up TV, was shot on location in Kingston, Jamaica and captures the songstress in dimly lit tropical settings.
Tanika has been a busy lady aside from the constant travelling and has promised a fan on her Instagram page that an upcoming EP is on the horizon. Watch ‘No Man Is An Island’ above and look out for all of Tanika’s projects in the second half of 2018.
