The North London collective OFB have been active this year, dropping a numerous amount of content despite some members being incarcerated. Very recently, OFB’s own Headie One has released ‘The One Two’ to wide acclaim and he has been nominated for three different awards by the KA x GRM Daily Rated Awards 2018 – including Track of the Year (‘Know Better’ with RV) and Breakthrough of the Year. On this occasion his affiliates BandoKay and Double Lz are trying to breakthrough themselves with their joint effort ‘Gms In The Cut’ with production coming from none other than M1 On The Beat and JM-00.
‘Gms In The Cut’ finds the younger contingent of the OFB collective tradings bars over typically high octane production; posting up on the blocks among the graffiti walls in the process. BandoKay and Double Lz show their potential on this cut as they trade bars comfortably on a beat that you’d associate with the likes of Loski, Headie One and the Harlem Spartans, which serves as a reminder of how popular the drill sound is. This release is a good look for the OFB boys as they continue to let the flag fly in a collectively successful year for the team.
