Northampton MC Izzie Gibbs comes through with a brand-new visual to his track entitled People. This track is off Izzie Gibbs 96LS EP released at the end of May and is also the third visual to drop from the EP, as he unveiled the music videos for both Flaca and Little Snitch earlier this year.
The Dego Visionz and Chalky directed visuals see Izzie in a setting similar to America’s so-called wild west, as the video takes on inspiration from Quentin Tarantino’s 2012 film, Django Unchained with Izzie playing the role of Django.
With impactful lines such as “Fuck you and your ego, I don’t wanna be illegal, they don’t treat us equal, surrounded by this evil, I do this for my people”, this track holds a powerful message touching on family, ambitions, and not being held back and battling the struggles in life, whilst the visuals prove a great filter for this message to be conveyed.
