For a while there, life seemed to prise Surf Philosophies apart.
The psych pop duo found themselves living in different countries, traversing Europe while keeping in touch via text messages and emails.
Reconvening at their old rehearsal space in Malmo, Surf Philosophies began piecing together layers of psych pop, quickly amassing material for a full length album.
Out on January 20th, the record is deliriously inventive, a piece of stripped down lysergic pop that plays by its own rules.
