“My inspiration behind this book is to showcase the natural beauty of the girls that I'm lucky enough to work with & to create a sense of freedom, while enjoying the beautiful outdoors, in particular the Ocean. I also wanted to shoot the book solely on 35mm film, to help give it a more authentic feel & to separate the project from my other works.”
A 158 page personal project shot by Nat Lanyon makes our memory of summer, that seemed like a blur and far memory, lucid and vivid again. “Sun Escape” featuring the beautiful sands of Australia, Indonesia & California. The book features friends & models that Nat has worked with over the past 2 years to create this photographic vision of beautiful women & oceanscapes. Timeless swimwear has been provided by amazing Australian label She Made Me. It’s a select collection of portraits, intimate moments & uninhibited movements.
