Almost Famous: JERMAIN JACKMAN

Jermain Jackman
Jermain Jackman has big ambitions beyond music
With David Cameron and Ed Milliband both courting the young singer's favour, it looks like Boris should start worrying.
Jackman has been very clear about his political ambitions ever since winning The Voice last year.
While he has an eye on the Mayor of London post, the current political leaders can probably relax for a while.
Jackman's music career means that being Prime Minister will have to wait, "Until I'm old and grey."
It's the final part of our chat to promote his self-titled debut album and new single How Will I Know.
Previosuly we talked about the shocking moment he thought he had a love child.
Not quite so much drama this time as we talk about love, ladies and his new music.
Oh yes, and those modest political ambitions...

Jermain tells me that his life has changed beyond recognition since his win last year on The Voice.
"I have gone from zero to a hundred," he admits.
"I have to dress up just to go to the corner shop to buy some milk!"
But the pay off is that he finally gets to make the album he has always dreamed of.
Bringing in soul, rock, classical and gospel, Jermain says that his self-titled debut,
"Is British Soul music at its best.
"It represents who I am as an artist."
Jermain's debut album and single How Will I Know are out on March 23
