East London, Bow rapper Jay Silva had his come up in the early stages of UK’s melody-heavy and afrobeats-inspired wave, releasing singles to always surpass one million views such as “See Me Now”, “No Way”, “Say My Name” and more. He took a step back from the scene though and stop releasing projects for quite a while but it seems that he is ready to return as he brings some mad heat on “Mercedes Benz”. To top things up, the single seems to be the premiere track of the artist’s upcoming mixtape “Tutti Frutti”.
Shortly after releasing the audio to “Mercedes Benz” last week, Jay Silva makes most anticipated return with its visuals. The video is a GRM Records production and it catches J Silva in some clean cut captions with features from console games, surrounded by German branded whip only. The self-produced beat features a heavy tempo with slight autotune effects, but full of catchy vibes and the sound of his signature adlib – “Ay ya ya”. Riming “Benz” with “bandz” and “racks” , the song is mad catchy. I think Jay might be ready to show us his new improved skills and what he has been perfecting on while away from the scene.
