South London based rapper Fekky has been a bit quiet following the release of last year’s ‘El Clasico’, which features the likes of Giggs, Skepta, Chip and even Neutrino. Following his brief hiatus which saw him touring here and there, he has decided to drop new music just over a year from the release of ‘El Clasico’ and has delivered some of the cleanest visuals you’ll see this year. Titled ‘Look At Me Now’, this one finds Fekky getting busy over an MB instrumental as he gives an impromptu update on where he is at.
Given his cocky demeanour and in your face punchlines, it is no surprise to see Fekky stick to a formula which has largely worked for him over the course of his career. The crisp video finds him being as flashy as ever, riding around in a kitted out Audi R8 as he puts the mannequins and special effects to good use. Fekky’s raps encompass his spending, having his way with other people’s girlfriends and his swag as his tongue-in-cheek nature takes centre stage. ‘Look At Me Now’ has dropped as we are well into the second half of 2018; we are yet to see if this track will result in a follow up project to ‘El Clasico’.
