GWEN STEFANI calls police on stalker

*THE SYNDICATE DOES NOT EXIST*

Gwen Stefani called police on a potential stalker on Monday, it has been claimed.

The No Doubt singer was photographed tentatively stepping out of a Los Angeles acupuncture clinic, a favourite haunt of hers, after she reportedly saw a 'suspicious person' outside, according to eyewitnesses.

Extra stated that Gwen was seen taking pictures of the alleged stalker out of the clinic door.

While the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to the outlet that they did speak to the 45-year-old at the clinic, they refused to go into detail about the incident.

They did, however, say that they had searched the area but the person had left before they arrived.

According to Extra, police officers left their contact details with Gwen's security team if she had any further questions or concerns.

The What You Waiting For? singer became a household name as the front woman of No Doubt and her subsequent solo music career.

And in a recent interview, Gwen admitted that it was her love for music and her ability to translate her emotions into songs that made her feel empowered.

"When I realised I could write songs, I felt much stronger," she smiled to the German edition of Cosmopolitan magazine.
"Prior to that, I invested all my energy in my relationships. But to put all my energy into something I created changed me in the best way possible."

Gwen acted as a mentor on the US edition of The Voice last year, passing on her advice alongside fellow panellists Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams.

Seeing those hopefuls made the blonde beauty question what it means to be famous.

"On The Voice, the talent often says: 'I want to make it!' But what does that mean, to make it?" she queried.

"My parents taught us music is a hobby, that you don't make it, these things don't just happen. It still amazes me now that I matter to people!"
