Devlin is back in full effect with new track Fun To Me.
East London-based grime MC, Devlin, has been cemented in the scene for many years, and you’ll find him in a lot of people’s top 5 of grime. Devlin has been on a long hiatus, recently returning with a freestyle with Kyze, on Kiss FM, and now he is back with brand new single Fun To Me.
Fun To Me is a declaration that speaks for itself. Devlin is saying that it’s all fun to him, from robbing you all for the cash, to the multitude of ladies in and out of his gaff. He’s using his gritty delivery to execute cold bars with a wavy flow, making the track quite catchy.
The visuals are simple and laid back, which makes the lyrics more effective. Devlin is chilling at home, then roaming the streets on his lonesome, all whilst spitting some ferocious bars. Less is more in this case, and it works well.
Devlin is back, and his bars are as strong as they’ve ever been. Hopefully, his return means that he’s here to stay.
