23 Unofficial unveils cinematic visuals for Jumpshot.
Last year, Hackney-based rapper, 23 Unofficial, seemed to have a fantastic year last year as he sold out his first headline show and, also, he dropped his well-crafted debut full-length EP, The Unofficial Album. He’s now back with the release of some fresh new visuals for his track entitled Jumpshot.
Jumpshot is an infectious yet relatable track. Bass booming production by 2FVDED blends effortlessly well with 23’s nonchalant flow, gritty demeanour and hard-hitting lyrics. The artist raps about his transition of how he “used to buy J’s, now I swear Jordan pays me”, and talks about what he’s still doing, and the difference between himself and others. Jumpshot is honest, easy to listen to and has a nice chilled out vibe to it.
Directed by Suave, the visuals brought to us are cinematic in style, and black and white in their delivery. From the drone shots of scenic landscape views, to the dark scenes with 23 spitting as his peers lay unnoticeable in the background, the Jumpshot video has been well put together. The visuals match the track with their simple yet effectiveness.
