Carns Hill has been one of the more consistent producers in the UK ‘urban’ music scene for a number for years now. Forging successful alliances and collaborating with the likes of Youngs Teflon, Mental K and 67, which has lead to him producing with more acts around South London and beyond. Most recently, he has put out SRB Separation Confirmed, featuring the likes of Blade Brown, Skrapz, Section Boyz and many more. Just yesterday, he linked up with 86’s own T Mula to put out the video to RDX – which was released at the same time as the single on iTunes and Spotify.
The video, directed by Lah Media, finds the tandem in a luxury apartment surrounded by a number of vices – namely weed, alcohol and women. Despite the distractions, he still rides the Carns Hill produced beat well as he raps over the hard 808’s and airy flutes. RDX is just one of yet another banger on Carns’ record as his ability to lace rappers with quality instrumentals that match their skill set doesn’t seem to wane despite being in the game for over a decade. T Mula shines on the beat and employs some cheeky wordplay around RDX.
