Safone and Mayhem NODB are musically reunited, and the pair have created a cold new track ‘We Know’.
Birmingham raised artists, Safone and Mayhem NODB, have joined forces again, in returning to the booth and creating a hot new track, entitled ‘We Know’. Those that have followed either, or both, artists over the years will feel intense nostalgia, as Safone and Mayhem together on a track has always been a good vibe.
Safone kicks off the track, with admirable ease, and as he bounces between fresh bars, and clever references, We Know sounds exciting from the start. His serious lyrical abilities are notable, and so is his ability to add in funny elements with cheeky bars.
‘I pull up, man are like ‘you done know’, I look back like you don’t know’.
Mayhem takes control of his feature, with his husky tone and energetic delivery. He’s still got a quick flow, and witty bars, and didn’t forget to remind us that he’s Mr HazeuM, with the adlibs.
Deftly-produced by Swifta, the beat is bold, upbeat and catchy. There are many distinct details in the sound, which could have easily contrasted against the lyrical flow of both Safone and Mayhem. Yet, ‘We Know’ has been carefully produced to make everything fit perfectly – and that’s what makes the track so good.
The well-paced visuals, were captured by, 17 year old director, SVMIVISUALS. It appears to be a day in the life for both artists, shot to depict the imagery of what the track is about.
‘We Know’ is a wicked collaboration, and will especially excite those who remember when the artists first starting making music together!
Also, Safone will be featured in the brand new Noisey Birmingham documentary, screening 15 May in Birmingham, and 16 May in London. Followed by his headline show, at Birmingham O2 Academy, on 15 June.
