Ironik is back with some new music and links up with BBK’S JME for the remix of ‘Icey’. The remix comes a month after the original ‘Icey’ visuals were released, in which Ironik called upon Fekky to feature.

Directed by Jedd Roberts, ‘Icey’ sees Ironik vibing outside an estate as he talks being busy of late due to touring and hitting out 30 tracks in a week before the catchy hook from the original is also laid down. JME then steps in for the second verse and lets us know his progression from the council flats to picking up keys and owning his own property.

Ironik, who made his name with breakthrough tracks ‘So Nice’ and ‘Stay’ 10 years ago, released ‘Truth Be Told’ last year. Truth Be Told was a 14 track album and featured the likes of Clue, Paigey Cakey and the legendary Snoop Dogg.

JME last featured on BBK’s ‘Athlete’, which was released at the start of the month and featured the whole BBK crew and was assisted by Goldie 1 who is on the hook. JME’s last project came in 2015 when he released ‘Integrity’. We can only hope the Grime veteran has another body of work coming soon.
