‘YRF’ IN WAVEY NEW MUSIC VIDEO

Two of the biggest artists of 2017, Fredo and Not3s link up for a visually pleasing video. We have been hearing about this for a while since Fredo has teased us with pictures of him on this mesmerising set in his custom-made and luxurious fur coat. They present to us YRF.
Individually, both artists have had vastly successful years, following many big releases that the whole of the UK has recognised and acknowledged one way or another. Mr Addison Lee has given us a packed music year, delivering songs that we’ve been chanting the lyrics to non-stop. We can’t get enough of My Lover, which was only released last month. We can undoubtedly say, Not3s’ work rate has been nuts. He’s been collaborating with artists like Young Adz, MoStack; also recently offering up his My Lover remix featuring up and coming female artist, Mabel. Fredo has also released few collaborations but his solo songs are some of the best of 2017, just like Not3s releasing My Lover last month, Fredo gave us Change and it’s wavey. This unexpected duo comes together to top off this sick year, music wise, both vocalists have had.
The video introduces Not3s with his wavey vocals, and the chorus explains the YRF abbreviation as being: Young, Rich, and Famous. This is shortly followed by Fredo’s solid rap contrasting against Not3s’ soft voice. He touches on the subject of his money, and how he’s ‘young and living’ after his time in jail. We see shots of him extravagantly walking along the ‘snow’, with a model dancing in the background. Fredo himself looks frosty, along with Not3s also rocking a deluxe fur coat.
Not3s gave us an insight into what will be expected of him in 2018 on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show. He told us to look out for more collaborations worldwide, as well as an artist he has previously gotten together with Mostack. He also teases us by saying ‘I’ve got sick features with other UK artists as well’, so we can’t wait to see who Not3s cooperates with next year. Fredo, however, we’ll have to wait and see what fresh sounds will be revealed. He’s been very quiet about new releases, but with him starting off the new year with a bang following the introduction of his UK tour taking place in early March, (which was sold out in minutes) we know he’ll be dedicated to making some more impressive music.
We hope to see more unity between Fredo and Not3s as YRF was a grand collaboration. Watch the video above and tell us what you think in the comments.
