BILLBOARD’ VISUALS

Zone2 rappers Karma and Varns release the visuals to their latest track Billboard on Pressplay Media.
The visuals for Billboard see Karma and Varns, from the UK drill collective Zone2, link up to deliver another hit.
Drill originated in Chicago, with rapper Chief Keef at the forefront, and soon after its origination it made its way to the UK. In London, drill is one of the main rap styles on the urban scene and one of the most well known collectives is Zone2.
Hailing from South London, Zone2 are putting drill music on a pedestal and the standards they’re setting are high. The group release their music on Pressplay Media’s YouTube channel, anything between one to four times a week, and each song is a banger. With their consistency and profound music, it’s only right to say that they’re heading straight to the top.
Billboard showcases not only talent but also a strong work ethic, as it has only been two weeks since we saw Karma on Known Zoo; another Zone2 collaborative track.
The visual, set in the nighttime, sticks to the ‘lurky’ theme of drill music videos. It sets the scene of somewhere you wouldn’t want to be on a dark night unless you were invited; as they have the whole squad in tow and they’re masked up.
Artists Karma and Varns are seen in a series of shots from an almost derelict staircase to a car, where they effortlessly rap their intense lyrics to the camera. There isn’t much more needed than that in the visual because the bars are cold enough on their own. However, the visual gives you the feels you need to accompany the drill vibe you’re listening to.
Check out the visual above and enjoy until the next one, which shouldn’t be too far away given their track record of regular releases.
