The Julian Taylor Band released their latest album, Desert Star back in 2015, and now a track from the double LP has been given the music video treatment.
"Chemical Low" is a song about depression as a result of the pressures of the modern era, though there's also an undercurrent of optimism within it. "It's also about how there's always hope," Taylor said in a statement. "It's essentially about the current state of the world, and how it sometimes feels as if we're living in an altered reality."
The accompanying visuals find Taylor wandering city streets and more rural wooded areas in the dark, finding inspiration in the unlikely discovery of a record just before daybreak,.
