Coast Modern seemed to strike gold first time out.
The Los Angeles duo dropped 'Hollow Life' earlier this year, a sparkling piece of synth pop with smart-as-hell lyrics.
Two further cuts 'Animals' and 'Guru' have stormed the web, with Coast Modern - real names Luke Atlas and Coleman Trapp - underlining their potent depth.
Vivid Radio is able to premiere the video for 'Hollow Life', and while it's low on budget it's definitely high on thrills.
Coast Modern explain: "How do you shoot a music video with $0 and 8 hours? We grabbed a friend with a camera and headed to the suburbs of LA to make fools of ourselves in front of the neighbors. One guy even called the cops on us. We had fun, see for yourself."
