The 29-year-old may be on the straight and narrow now but revealed during her school years she regularly took crystal meth.
In her most candid chat yet, the TV stunner said: “I was 14 or 15 [when I first smoked crystal meth]...I was on the extreme level and addiction developed instantly.
“[I smoked] probably four times before school, then at snack... probably 12 or 13 times a day."
Steph even admitted despite living the life of luxury on TV shows The Hills and Made in Chelsea she was arrested for shop lifting in 2006.
“I didn't care about anything," she told New mag.
"I could live or die, I didn't care. I had nothing to get out of bed for, nothing was exciting.”
And while she has over come her previous demons Steph's life is no walk in the park.
The blonde beauty recently split form boyfriend Josh Shepherd during filming in LA.
The emotional scenes were show in this weeks Made in Chelsea: LA episode where the American admitted she had lost the love of her life.
