When POLICE decide to RAPE

*Warning: PIRATE RADIO presentation*

SAPULPA — A preliminary hearing has been postponed for a former Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper charged with rape and sexual battery of three women during traffic stops.
The hearing scheduled for Wednesday afternoon for Eric Roberts in Creek County District Court in Sapulpa was postponed until June 5.
Prosecutors had requested the delay, but no reason for it was immediately given.
The charges filed last year against 42-year-old Roberts in three separate cases include second-degree rape, sodomy, sexual battery, embezzlement and asking for or receiving a bribe. He has pleaded not guilty.
Attorney Says More Women Claim Trooper Assaulted Them
The allegations came to light in August when a woman filed a federal lawsuit alleging that Roberts raped her following a traffic stop. Two more women later made similar allegations.

Roberts was suspended in July and resigned in September.
