The dedicated UK music channel JDZmedia had been on a bit of a hiatus for a few weeks, content was not dropping like fans would expect. But they’ve been back with some fire new content, which includes their long running ‘PLATINUM EDITION’ series. Northampton based MC Izzie Gibbs has been active this year following the release of his latest EP 96LS, which features the introspective effort “People”. He shows no signs of slowing down his work rate as he goes in with dizzying flows, hitting all the right pockets of this haunting instrumental.
Over the course of four minutes, Izzie proceeds with the skippiest of flows (“man don’t live there” had to get mentioned before he went in) as he tells us about the risks he took, the sacrifices and sleepless nights as he gets deep into his delivery. Izzie Gibbs is almost breathless but the aggressive delivery shows the passion he is putting into his barring as we behold a lyrical onslaught. The bass-laden instrumental complements Izzie’s delivery as he boasts to have “demi-god lyrics” and recalls the pain he has lived in.
