West London based, 12 World rapper S1 makes his return to the channel with a fresh set of visuals to his brand new diss track, titled, Mental. The rapper takes aim at Poundz on this track as he gives us what the people have been asking fo in responding to South London based versatile rapper Poundz.
The self proclaimed “most hated’ rapper’s Mental is an extremely swift response to a song that a lot of people weren’t sure was going to get a reply at all. This back and forth seems like it might have come out of nowhere to many but it reportedly stems from S1 claiming that Poundz took his flow – a while back; leading to Poundz unleashing his Who’s Laughing track (below) with clever references and wordplay coupled very disrespectful lines plastered throughout.
Between the two artists, Poundz seemingly has the upper hand lyrically, though their respective numbers and overall popularity aren’t indicative of this claim as Poundz while undoubtably talented is definitely underrated and overlooked by many in the UK Urban music scene at present.
Regardless of the above, S1 is no pushover and can hold his own on mic – as he has demonstrated in his back and forth with another rapper recently.
