London’s Newham rapper, Mr Morrisson, is a veteran in the game, having dropped various freestyles and projects that have surpassed 1 million views in the last 6 years. He returns to SBTV with a new project “Buckingham Palace” and everyone will probably be very impressed with the visuals on this one.
The instrumental – produced by A-Saf,  is cold, something that I would definitely think of as part of Morrisson’s repertoire. The song is a statement to his lifestyle, as he references to himself as Money Mitch (Paid in Full, 2012) and of how easy it has been for him to move around and take care of his fortune, despite being under police investigations and trials. Also, the song refers a lot to the importance of his friends and how they all work together and share profits.
The hook on this one is really catchy: “I got a house full of Charlie and Harry/ I got my trap looking like Buckingham Palace”, with a good wordplay to it.
The visuals, directed by Kam Cordings, are looking like a movie, offering some very explicit visual representation that alludes to an illicit yet very luxurious lifestyle the artist lives. You can see scenes of Morrisson living in an impressive mansion, almost like a palace, then meeting his friends by the corner shop back in the endz.
Mr Morrisson is an impressive character in the scene, with a lot of truth behind his lyrics. Make sure you check out his new visuals out now on SBTV. Meanwhile, you can also listen to the “The Best of Morrisson” mixtape here.
