Frisco is back in a big way! After dropping the hotly anticipated album ‘Back 2 Da Lab Vol. 5’, he has more in store for us on this Good Friday. He has dropped a video for ‘God Forgive Me’ the funky Show N Prove produced album cut featuring singer Tiggs Da Author. Frisco shows his versatility as the video is co-directed by himself and multi disciplined visual artist Appeti.
The video has Big Fris in a variety of settings including the blocks, outside a church and even in a confession booth as he confesses his many truths in his signature flow. The two artists complement each other’s styles well as Tiggs’ chorus interpolates Skepta’s famous “God forgive me” line from ‘F****** Widda Team’. This wouldn’t have been my first choice for a video from this album but it works well and is cleanly executed. Hopefully we get to see more videos from the project in the coming weeks and months.
