Liverpool’s own Tremz makes his return to Link Up to unveil his new music video to track IntroStyle (I’m So FTR) which is from his forthcoming release, Nothing But Scouse Trap.
The Trap Queens rapper adds his own edge to trap music, this being his accent which sounds wavey on UK Drill instrumentals. Many artists based outside of London have been benefitting from this default and Tremz, with a strong accent and Scouse lingo is definitely one. Accents can go either way in music but for this artists, Tremz seems to using it to his advantage to the extent that he and some other Northern rappers, has coined a sub-genre of Trap which he calls ‘Scouse Trap’.
IntroStyle (I’m So FTR) is a wavey tune! It actually catches you off guard how sick the combination of his lyrics, accent, and instrumental fit together.
