Vancouver-based unit Five Alarm Funk are sure to heat things up when their latest LP Sweat arrives next month, but they're getting fans moving right now with a brand new lyric video.

The new visuals have arrived to accompany the recently shared lead single "DDPP" — an acronym for "Dance Dance Party Party." Naturally, the clip pairs the energetic track with footage that finds folks from all walks of life getting down and busting moves.

"'DDPP' is all about moves, shaking it on the dance floor, busting lose with a group of friends, or crushing it solo in your living room," the band's Tayo Branston tells VIVID "We wanted to create an explosive breakbeat circa 1980s, that delivered our signature punch and relentless intensity."

And while the lyrics are few and far between, the words that do shout their way into the song get displayed in bold type plastered across the screen.

As previously reported, the forthcoming record was produced by Ben Kaplan and hears the band pouring "over a decade of dedication and determination" — not to mention copious amounts of sweat — into their work.

Watch the lyric video for "DDPP" down below. Sweat is due out March 3, and you can find the band's upcoming tour dates here.
