Maudlin Strangers is a project dominated by the creativity of just one person: Agoura Hills native Jake Hays.
Darkly enticing electro-pop with a rock edge, the band were recently hand-picked by Cold War Kids to support them on their upcoming North American tour.
Ahead of this, Clash is able to present the video for new single 'Gingerale'. Amidst the swooping chorus and glistening verse lies something rather more mysterious, with the lyrics belying a hidden melancholy.
