TONGUE TIED: Gabriel Macht struggles to get his head round some of his lines
But it’s not the legal jargon he struggles with playing a lawyer.
It’s the fact the writers make Harvey’s sentences so long and wordy.
“To be in that head space 14 hours a day is draining”He said: “There are a lot of words to
learn and most of it is gibberish.
“But the writers have created this language where they try and see how many words they can get in a sentence.
“It’s a mouthful each time but it makes our show what it is.”
Gabriel also said he gets exhausted playing Harvey as he is nothing like the cocky character he portrays.
He added: “I’m so different to Harvey.
“It’s a challenge to play him.
“I’m in people’s faces all the time on the show.
“To be in that head space 14 hours a day is draining.
“I’m super exhausted by the end of the day.”
